Turlock Man Killed, Ceres Man Seriously Injured in Crash on Keyes Road in Keyes

Stanislaus County, California (September 6, 2022) – 33-year-old Christopher Desousa was killed when his vehicle collided head-on with another car early Sunday morning in Keyes, Stanislaus County, the county's coroner's office said.
Richard John Agresti, 31, was seriously injured in the accident that happened at around 1 a.m. on Keyes Road near Pioneer Road.
Police said Desousa, a resident of Turlock, was heading eastbound on Keyes Road in a 2008 Mazda 3 at a high rate of speed.
Agresti, of Ceres, was, at the same time, traveling westbound on Keyes in a 2017 Chevrolet Silverado.
As the two vehicles approached each other, Desousa suddenly veered across the eastbound lane and into the westbound lane, directly into the path of Agresti's car.
The front of the Mazda hit the left front of the Silverado.
