2 Killed in Rollover Collision on Cypress Avenue near 13th Street in King City

King City, California (September 7, 2022) – At least two people died in a car crash that occurred near Greenfield in King City on Tuesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened on Cypress Avenue near 13th Street at around 8:37 p.m.
A 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee is suspected to have collided with a second vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances. The impact of the collision caused the Jeep to flip into an irrigation pond.
The authorities who responded to the incident found the vehicle completely submerged.
Two people were ejected from the overturned vehicle and were pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The names of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
