At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Two-Car Accident on Highway 101 at Hillsdale Boulevard Off-Ramp
San Mateo, California (September 7, 2022) – At least one person sustained severe injuries in a traffic collision that took place early Wednesday morning in San Mateo, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 2:25 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 at the Hillsdale Boulevard off-ramp.
A white box truck collided with a sedan under unclear circumstances.
CHP said at least one person suffered major injuries in the accident. Emergency personnel responded to the scene to help the victim.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
CHP is investigating the collision.
