At Least 1 Killed in Merced Crash near Childs Avenue and Kibby Road
Merced, California (September 9, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a traffic collision that happened on Thursday morning in Merced, according to the authorities.
The incident happened at around 6 a.m. September 8, on Childs Avenue and Kibby Road.
Authorities said the PG&E truck collided with another vehicle in the area under unclear circumstances.
One person died following the incident.
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately released.
The area of Childs Avenue and Kibby Road was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
