1 Injured in San Jose Truck Accident on 680 Freeway and Mckee Road
San Jose, California (September 9, 2022) –The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car accident that injured at least one person on Thursday evening in San Jose.
The accident occurred at around 6:18 p.m. September 8, on 680 Freeway, just north of Mckee Road.
Per the CHP officials, a big rig and a black Cadillac crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Responding firefighters and medical personnel rendered aid to at least one person who suffered injuries in the crash. The total number of injured parties and their current condition were not immediately available.
Officials blocked the slow lane following the accident.
The Cadillac sustained rear-end damage and was towed away from the crash site.
Further details concerning this incident were not available.
The incident remains under investigation.
