Rider Critically Hurt in Victorville Motorcycle Accident on Bear Valley Road near Pacoima Road
Victorville, California (September 9, 2022) – A motorcyclist was airlifted to a trauma center after a Thursday night crash in Victorville, as per a local news source.
The incident took place at about 9:53 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, just east of Pacoima Road.
According to Victorville police, the collision involved a black 2020 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a silver Kia sedan.
The car and the rider were both heading westbound on Bear Valley Road, and the bike was traveling at a high rate of speed.
Authorities said, for unknown reasons, the motorcyclist crashed into the back of the sedan and was ejected.
Victorville firefighters responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance to airlift the rider to an out-of-area trauma center.
A Mercy Air helicopter responded and transported the critically injured driver to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.
Bear Valley Road between Mall Boulevard and Pacoima Boulevard was closed to allow an investigation and the vehicles to be removed from the scene.
Police are investigating the collision.
