1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 4 near Port Chicago Highway in Concord
Contra Costa, California (September 11, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after being seriously injured in a Sunday morning car crash in Concord.
At around 1:38 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a traffic collision on Highway 4 near Port Chicago Highway.
At least four vehicles were involved in the collision but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
One person sustained major injuries in the accident and was rushed to John Muir Walnut Creek Hospital for treatment.
More information about the accident was not provided.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
