1 Injured in Richmond Car Accident on 80 Freeway at Cutting Boulevard
Richmond, California (September 12, 2022) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person sustained injuries after a two-vehicle collision Saturday evening in Richmond.
The accident occurred at around 10:21 p.m. on September 11, on the westbound 80 Freeway at Cutting Boulevard off-ramp.
Per the CHP officials, a black sedan and a white Chevrolet pickup truck crashed for reasons still under investigation. The sedan sustained significant front-end damage following the collision.
Fire officials and medics rushed to the scene to render aid to at least one person with minor injuries due to the accident. The patient's name was not immediately released.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the crash. The cars were towed away from the accident scene.
No other information concerning this incident was provided.
