Zhang Xiaoming Injured in Deadly Lassen County Crash on Highway 395 near Old Milford Road
Lassen County, California (September 13, 2022) – Zhang Xiaoming, 50, of Fremont, was injured in a deadly car accident in Lassen County on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Highway 395, just south of Old Milford Road, at around 9:04 p.m. on September 9.
According to CHP, a man was driving a 2008 Nissan northbound on Highway 395 when he drifted across the centerline and collided head-on with an oncoming 2018 Tesla.
Xiaoming was among two occupants of the Nissan. They were both airlifted to Renown Medical Center in Reno with serious injuries.
The driver of the Tesla died in the incident.
The southbound lanes of Highway 395 were shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the deadly incident.
