1 Killed in Fiery Car Accident on Highway 60 near Greenwood Avenue in Monterey Park
Los Angeles, California (September 14, 2022) – One person was killed in a Wednesday morning car crash in Monterey Park, Los Angeles.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 60 near Greenwood Avenue at around 12:01 a.m.
A black sedan and a silver Toyota Camry were involved in the collision. Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, one of the vehicles caught fire after the accident.
The Montebello Fire Department crew arrived at the scene and put out the fire.
Officials say one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
