1 Injured in Collision on Highway 98 near Highway 7 in El Centro
El Centro, California (September 14, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a car crash that occurred in El Centro early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 98 near Highway 7 at around 12:57 a.m.
A car and a big rig were involved in the collision. Although the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established, the car reportedly ended up underneath the big rig after the collision.
CHP says one person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the crash were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
