, California (September 15, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a car crash in Madera on Thursday morning.

At around 8:16 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a traffic collision on near Avenue 15.

Officials say a BMW collided with a second vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

At least one person was killed in the accident.

The identity of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
