At Least 1 Hurt in Fresno Accident on Highway 180 near Chestnut Avenue
Fresno, California (September 15, 2022) – At least one person was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday afternoon in Fresno, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened on Highway 180 near the Chestnut Avenue off-ramp at around 2:35 p.m.
CHP said a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck and a silver Ford Focus were among the three vehicles involved in the incident.
It's unclear what led up to the crash.
According to the report, one person was transported to a hospital with major injuries.
Further details on the incident were not immediately released.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the collision.
