2, Including Trooper, Injured in Rear-End Collision on Interstate 10 in Phoenix
Phoenix, Arizona (September 17, 2022) – A trooper was injured in a rear-end collision that happened early Saturday morning in Phoenix, a local news source reported.
The crash occurred on eastbound Interstate 10, involving a trooper and another car.
Authorities said the trooper was investigating a different crash at 40th Street when the other vehicle rear-ended him.
He was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries, but he is expected to survive.
One other person also sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic on eastbound I-10 was being diverted off the freeway at University Drive following the accident.
