1 Hospitalized after Glendale Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway at Colorado Street Off-Ramp
Glendale, California (September 17, 2022) – One person was severely hurt in a multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that happened Saturday afternoon in Glendale, the California Highway Patrol said.
The incident occurred at about 4 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway at the Colorado Street off-ramp.
A motorcycle and two other vehicles were involved in the accident. The motorcycle was blocking the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.
One person sustained serious injuries in the collision. Emergency personnel transported the patient to USC Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators closed the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes for about half an hour following the crash.
