, California (September 18, 2022) – A 20-year-old woman from was killed in a Saturday night head-on collision that left several other people injured in Kerman, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred at about 9:15 p.m., on September 17, on , east of Shasta Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Antonia Orosco of was driving a Honda sedan westbound on Highway 180, while at the same time, the 20-year-old woman was driving an Acura, traveling eastbound on the highway.

Orosco, while driving impaired, reportedly veered to the left and crossed over into the opposing eastbound lane directly in front of Acura. The two vehicles collided head-on.

Sadly, the 20-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

All passengers in the Acura sustained major to moderate injuries and were transported to a local hospital. Orosco also sustained major injuries and was also hospitalized for treatment.

Fresno, California (September 18, 2022) – One person died in a car crash on Saturday night in Kerman, Fresno County.

The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened on Highway 180 near Shasta Avenue at around 9:16 p.m.

A blue Toyota Camry and a second vehicle were involved in the accident. However, the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

CHP says one person was killed in the accident.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.

More details about the accident were not released.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
