1 Injured in Collision on 80 Freeway near Winters Street in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (September 18, 2022) – At least one person sustained major injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 5:51 a.m. on Interstate 80 Freeway near Winters Street.
As many as seven vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP said at least one person sustained major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
