Construction Worker Injured in San Carlos Accident on State Route 125
San Carlos, California (September 18, 2022) – A construction worker was seriously hurt in an accident on Tuesday night in San Carlos, according to the authorities.
The accident happened at around 11 p.m. on September 13, on State Route 125 near Navajo Road.
Authorities said an SUV traveling on southbound SR 125 came upon a construction zone and collided with an arrow flashing sign on a trailer.
The force of the crash sent the sign crashing into a construction worker.
The worker sustained major injuries in the accident and was rushed to a hospital by emergency crews.
There were no details on the driver of the SUV.
SR 125 was shut down as authorities investigated the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
