29-Year-Old Man Killed in Fresno Accident on Highway 99 near Shaw Avenue

Fresno, California (September 19, 2022) – A man was killed in a crash involving a motorcyclist in Fresno on Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on September 18, on Highway 99, just north of Shaw Avenue.
According to the report, a 29-year-old man was riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle south on Highway 99 in the far left lane when he collided with an obstruction in the roadway and was ejected into the far-right lane.
The rider was then struck by a southbound Toyota Corolla driven by a 28-year-old woman.
CHP said the motorcyclist died of his injuries at a hospital.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured and did not show signs of impairment.
An investigation into the deadly motorcycle collision is ongoing.
