At Least 1 Seriously Injured in Crash on Interstate 5 near Richards Boulevard Off-Ramp in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (September 19, 2022) – At least one person was seriously hurt in a semi-truck accident that happened Monday evening in Sacramento, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision transpired at around 7:19 p.m. on northbound Interstate 5, just south of the Richards Boulevard off-ramp.
A semi-truck and a sedan were involved in the accident, blocking traffic lanes.
Firefighters responded to the scene to help the motorists.
As per the report, the crash left at least one person with major injuries.
No other details were given, but CHP is investigating the collision.
