1 Injured in Orange County Crash on Highway 22 and 5 Freeway

Orange County, California (September 20, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Orange County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 3:50 p.m. Monday, September 19, at Highway 22 to 5 Freeway connector.
Per the CHP officials, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medical personnel rendered aid to one person injured in the accident. The patient was transported to Providence St. Joseph Hospital to treat minor injuries. The name of the victim was not immediately provided.
Authorities issued a SigAlert for 30 minutes closing the transition road. The roadway was re-opened as of 4:58 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the accident scene.
No other information regarding this incident was provided.
