Renton, Wash. – Authorities are investigating a deadly car crash involving a school bus near an intersection in Renton Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Renton Police Department, the wreck happened at around 1 p.m. near Bronson Way NE and NE Third Street.
Reportedly, a sedan struck a special education school bus in unclear circumstances.
A passenger in the sedan died from their injuries. The sedan's driver and another passenger were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
No one on the bus was injured.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
During the on-scene investigation, Third Street was closed between Bronson and Edmonds.
No additional information about the wreck was provided.
