Santa Ana, Calif. – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Tuesday evening on State Route 57 in Santa Ana, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck was reported at around 5:33 p.m. on Highway 57 and Orangethrope Avenue.
A big rig and a motorcycle were involved in the deadly crash. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately examined.
The rider was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The identity of the biker was not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
