A ladder reportedly detached from a vehicle on the highway and triggered a four-car collision

Orange, Calif. – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Tuesday morning on a highway in Orange, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The pileup took place around 11:26 a.m. on Highway 55, just north of Lincoln Avenue.
Reportedly, a ladder detached from a vehicle and caused a collision involving a white Kia Sportage, a white Tesla, and two other vehicles. The vehicle that was carrying the ladder was also involved in the accident.
Emergency personnel responded and blocked all traffic lanes.
At least one person sustained minor injuries. The patient was offered medical aid at the scene, but it was unclear whether they were hospitalized.
All lanes were reopened around 12:22 p.m.
Police are investigating the accident.
