The Denair man was driving a 2009 Ford northbound on Highway 99 at an unknown high rate of speed when he drifted toward the center divider and crashed into the rear of a Hino truck.

Update: Stockton, Calif. – A 37-year-old Deniar man is dead following a multi0vehicle traffic collision on Highway 99 in Stockton Wednesday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
Reportedly, a man driving a 2023 Hino truck was involved in an accident and was stopped in the center divider near Arch Road. A 37-year-old Denair man was driving a 2009 Ford northbound on Highway 99 at an unknown high rate of speed when he drifted toward the center divider and crashed into the rear of the Hino truck.
The impact casued the Ford to spin out and came to rest in the No. 2 lane where it was struck by a 2005 Dodge Ram. The driver Ford was ejected upon the second impact. The Deniar man died in the crash.
A 2012 Chevrolet, traveling northbund on Highway 99, crashed into debris from the Ford in the No. 1 lane.
The first two lanes of Highway 99 were shut down due to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.

Stockton, Calif. – One person was killed in a three-vehicle collision on State Route 99 in Stockton Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the accident at around 5:57 a.m. on Highway 99 at Arch Road off-ramp.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
One person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
The wreck impacted the roadway for several hours as officers investigated the wreck.
The cause of the mishap remains under investigation.
