One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision 5 Freeway near Lassen Avenue in Coalinga
Fresno County, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident near Coalinga in Fresno County on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident happened around 2:11 p.m. on southbound 5 Freeway near Lassen Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
