Three vehicles were involved in the collision, resulting in minor injuries

Santa Fe Springs, Calif. – At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday morning on a freeway in Santa Fe Springs, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision took place around 10:14 a.m. on northbound Interstate 605, just north of the Firestone Boulevard.
A gray Kia Forte, a gray Nissan Sentra, and a third car were involved in the crash.
Emergency personnel helped at least one person who sustained minor injuries.
The Kia was towed away with a broken axle. Airbags in the Nissan were deployed.
CHP Officers did not immediately determine the cause of the accident, but an investigation is ongoing.
