Goleta, Calif. – A female pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak Train on Surfliner Fairview in Goleta Friday afternoon.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the deadly auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 2 p.m. on Pacific Surfliner just west of Fairview Avenue.
The woman was struck by a train in the area in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified victim was pronounced deceased at the crash site.
More details regarding the wreck was not available.
