Two cars collided head-on at the intersection with Holway Drive, leaving at least one person with major injuries
Byron, Calif. – At least one person sustained major injuries in a head-on collision that happened Friday evening at an intersection in Byron, the California Highway Patrol said.
Two vehicles collided around 7:45 p.m. on Byron Highway at Holway Drive.
First responders found a black SUV and a black sedan involved in the accident, blocking traffic lanes.
At least one person sustained serious injuries in the accident. The patient was hospitalized in unknown condition.
Both vehicles were towed away from the collision.
Byron Highway was closed in both directions during an investigation.
