Stockton, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a major injury car crash that happened on Sunday morning in Stockton.
The accident was reported around 10:17 a.m. on Highway 4 near Escalon Bellota Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately determined.
Authorities say one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
