Fresno County, Calif. – Myrna Blanco has been identified as the pedestrian who died after being struck by a car in Fresno County on Friday night.
The fatal collision happened in the area of Temperance and North Avenues at around 7 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to reports of the incident found the woman on the road after being hit by a car.
Blanco succumbed to her injuries at the accident scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
