Garcia was driving a Mazda CX-5 in the northbound lanes when she collided head-on with a Honda Accord driven by Diego

Pasco, Wash. – Angelica M. Garcia, 37, of Kennewick and Esteban Francisco Diego, 26, of Hermiston, were injured in a wrong-way collision early Saturday morning in Pasco.
The Washington State Patrol said the accident happened around 12:45 a.m. on Highway 395 just north of Blue Bridge.
Garcia was driving a Mazda CX-5 in the northbound lanes when she collided head-on with a wrong-way Honda Accord driven by Diego.
Both drivers were injured in the accident and were taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Garcia was transported to Lourdes Medical Center while Diego was taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.
Alcohol and drugs were suspected to be factors in the crash.
The northbound lanes were closed for about three hours following the incident.
The accident remains under investigation.
