One person died after an SUV collided head-on with a box truck at Highway 59 and Rahilly Road in Merced County
Merced County, Calif. – One person was killed in a head-on collision on Tuesday morning in Merced County.
The fatal crash happened around 10:45 a.m. at Highway 59 and Rahilly Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A box truck and an SUV reportedly collided head-on on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Authorities say one person died in the crash.
The deceased person was not immediately established.
It is unknown if anyone else was injured in the accident.
