The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said De Lira Piedra was riding a motorcycle southbound on the PCH when he collided with a vehicle

Malibu, Calif. – The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash in Malibu on Sunday evening has been identified as Jose Alfonso De Lira Piedra, 32, of Burbank, according to the County Medical Examiner's Office.
The wreck happened in the 33400 block of the Pacific Coast Highway at about 6 p.m. December 24.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said De Lira Piedra was riding a motorcycle southbound on the PCH when he collided with a vehicle.
De Lira Piedra was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A section of the PCH was shut down as authorities investigated the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
