WSP said Mora was driving southbound on SR 17 when he collided with a Jeep Compass that was parked on the shoulder

Moses Lake, Wash. – Juan Mora, 56, of Othello, was injured in a multi-vehicle collision in Moses Lake on Sunday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The wreck happened on State Route 17 on December 24.
WSP said Mora was driving southbound on SR 17 when he collided with a Jeep Compass that was parked on the shoulder.
The impact pushed the Jeep into another vehicle parked infront of it.
Mora was taken to a hospital in Moses Lake for treatment.
The driver of the Jeep, Wualter Villalta Flores, 33, was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane for treatment.
A pedestrian, identified as Janell Dever, 59, of Pasco, was also hit in the incident and was transported to a Spokane hospital for treatment.
Mora is expected to face vehicular assault and DUI charges following the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
