Janell Dever Hurt in Moses Lake Crash on State Route 17

Moses Lake, Wash. – Janell Dever, 59, of Pasco, was injured in a collision that happened in Moses Lake on Sunday, the Washington State Patrol said.

The crash occurred on SR 17 on December 24.

According to the WSP, Juan Mora, 56, of Othello, was heading south on SR 17 when his vehicle crashed into a Jeep Compass parked on the shoulder.

The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to strike another vehicle parked ahead.

Dever was standing in the area and was hit by one of the vehicles. He was taken to a Spokane hospital for treatment.

Mora was taken to a Moses Lake hospital while the driver of the Jeep, identified as Wualter Villalta Flores, 33, was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

The WSP said Mora is expected to be charged with vehicular assault and DUI following the accident.

The crash is under investigation.
