Reportedly, a car crossed over into the southbound lanes directly into the path of a semi-truck, colliding head-on

Bakersfield, Calif. – A 41-year-old woman was seriously injured and a 36-year-old man suffered minor injuries in an early Thursday morning head-on collision in Bakersfield.
Authorities responded to the incident at around 1:55 a.m. on Highway 43 near Kratzmeyer Road.
Reportedly, a car crossed over into the southbound lanes directly into the path of a semi-truck, colliding head-on.
The woman driver of the car sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.

Bakersfield, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in an early Thursday morning car crash in Bakersfield.
The accident was reported around 1:57 a.m. on Highway 43 near Kratzmeyer Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A black minivan and a semi-truck were involved in the accident. The semi-truck rolled over onto its side after the collision.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not immediately established.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
