Pedestrian Dies after San Jose Accident on Santa Teresa Boulevard

, Calif. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle in San Jose on December 18, according to the San Jose Police Department.

The crash took place in the 6200 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard just after 6 p.m.

Police said a man was driving a 2013 black Honda sedan northbound out of a parking lot when he hit a female pedestrian walking eastbound on the sidewalk.

The victim was taken to a hospital, where she died on Sunday, December 24.

The involved motorist stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The investigation is ongoing.
