One person was transported to Henry Mayo Hospital while four others were treated at the scene and released

Santa Clarita, Calif. – Five people were injured in a bus accident on Thursday evening in Santa Clarita.
The accident was reported around 5:30 p.m. on the 25000 block of Rye Canyon Road at Avenue Scott, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
A bus was reportedly rear-ended by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
Four people were treated at the scene and released.
One person was transported to Henry Mayo Hospital.
The two right lanes of the highway were temporarily blocked as the scene was cleared.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
