Victorville, Calif. – A motorcycle rider was transported to the hospital after colliding with a car on 15 Freeway in Victorville Thursday afternoon, according to the Victorville Police Department.
The accident happened at about 1:57 p.m. December 28 on the southbound Interstate 15, just south of Bear Valley,
As per the police, a blue motorcycle and a white SUV were involved in the crash
CHP officers as well as Victorville Fire Department, responded to the crash scene and and found a seriously injured rider in the roadway.
Paramedics with AMR also responded to the scene and transported the patient to the hospital.
All lanes of the freeway were temporarily shut down due to the accident.
A tow truck was called to the scene at about 2:30 p.m. to remove the bike from the roadway.
According to the CHP, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
No additional information was provided.
