Turlock Man Killed in Crash on West Christoffersen Parkway in Turlock Identified

Turlock, Calif. – Authorities have identified 48-year-old Jonathan Williams of Turlock as a man killed in a multi-car crash on West Christoffersen Parkway in Turlock Friday afternoon.

The wreck happened at around West Christoffersen Parkway and Kilroy Avenue.

Williams, who was a basketball coach at Turlock High School was killed in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.

Turlock, Calif. – A 48-year-old Turlock man was killed and seven others were hurt on Christoffersen Parkway in Turlock Friday afternoon.

According to the Turlock Fire Department, the wreck happened at around 4 p.m. on Christoffersen Parkway and North Kilroy Avenue.

Responding crews located three vehicles near Pitman High School, but how they collided was not immediately established.

Turlock man sustained severe injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment, where he later died.

Seven other parties were treated with minor injuries.

Drugs and alcohol were not believed to have played a role in the wreck.

More information about the wreck was not provided.

The Turlock Police Department Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating the cause of the collision.
