Woman and Toddler Hospitalized after DUI Crash on NW 15th Ave and NW 80th Street

Seattle, Wash. – Authorities are investigating a DUI car crash that left a 40-year-old woman and a 2-year-old toddler with severe injuries in Seattle Tuesday morning.

According to the Seattle Police Department, the incident happened on Northwest 15th Avenue and Northwest 80th Street.

A preliminary investigation indicated that the female driver was driving under the influence and crashed into parked cars, a curb and into a building before coming to rest.

The woman and the Toddler were trapped inside the car had to be extricated and had to be extricated and were transported to to Harborview Medical Center with severe injuries for treatment.

The police said once the woman is medically cleared, she will be arrested on suspicion of felony DUI and reckless endangerment.
