Indio, Calif. – Four people were injured, three of them seriously injured in a big rig crash on State Route 86 in Indio.
Authorities responded to the wreck at around 9:49 p.m. on January 2 on the northbound State Route just north of 84th Avenue.
A red sedan and a big rig were involved in the crash. However, how they collided was not immediately established. The impact caused the sedan to go 100ft off the roadway.

The roadway was impacted for several hours due to the wreck.

Indio, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a major injury car accident that occurred in Indio on Tuesday night.
The accident was reported around 9:49 p.m. on Highway 86 near 84th Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A big rig and a sedan were involved in the collision. The impact of the collision sent the sedan off the roadway where it rolled over.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
