A Tesla Model Y collided with two other cars in the southbound lanes of the freeway

Lathrop, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle accident that happened early Thursday morning near Lathrop, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported around 3:50 a.m. on the southbound 5 Freeway, just south of Manthey Road.
A white Tesla Model Y collided with two other vehicles for unknown reasons.
The Lathrop Police Department responded to the scene and blocked four traffic lanes.
At least one person suffered minor injuries in the accident. It was not clear if the patient was hospitalized.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
