1 Injured in Signal Hill Accident on Redondo Avenue
Signal Hill, Calif. – A pedestrian was hospitalized with major injuries after being struck by a vehicle near Signal Hill early Friday morning.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, the accident took place on Redondo Avenue at around 5 a.m.
Police said a pedestrian was in the roadway when he was hit by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital with critical injuries but was reportedly in stable condition.
The involved driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
A section of Redondo Avenue was shut down for over two hours as authorities investigated the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
