Grays Harbor, Wash. – Authorities have released the name of an Aberdeen man who died in a Hit-and-Run crash Monday night in Grays Harbor.

Robert D. Westby, 55, of Aberdeen was involved in a crash that occurred at around 1:30 p.m. on January 1 on Highway 115 at milepost 2.

The crash remains under investigation.

 

Grays Harbor, Wash. – A 55-year-old Aberdeen man was killed in a hit-and-run accident Monday afternoon on Highway 115 in Grays Harbor.

Authorities said the collision happened at around 1:30 p.m. on January 1 on State Route 115 at milepost 2.

Reportedly, a northbound vehicle hit the bicyclist from behind. The cyclist came to rest in blackberry bushes off the northbound shoulder and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The driver involved fled the site before the officers arrived.

An investigation is underway.

Grays Harbor, Wash. – A bicyclist died after being struck by a car in Ocean Shores, Grays Harbor, on Monday afternoon.

The accident happened on State Route 115 at milepost 2, according to Washington State Patrol.

A bicyclist was reportedly struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.

The unidentified cyclist died at the accident scene.

The driver of the involved car fled the scene and was yet to be located.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
