A smaller white car lost control and crashed into a pickup truck, trapping two people inside the white car.
Los Angeles, Calif. – Authorities have confirmed that one person was killed and four others were injured Saturday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Woodman Avenue in Valley Glen.
The crash had earlier been reported as leaving six people injured.
The accident happened at about 12:51 p.m. on January 6, 2024, in the 6121 block of Woodman Avenue
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the crash involved a pickup truck and a white car. A witness told the investigators that the white car appeared to have lost control and crashed into the pickup truck.
One person in the white car was killed in the crash. A second person in the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Three people in the second vehicle, a dad, a mother, and a daughter were also injured in the crash.
Police say the crash is being investigated as a potential DUI.

Responding firefighters found two people trapped in the wreckage and freed them.
Six people, including those who were trapped, were injured in the collision. Five of them, including at least one child, were taken to area hospitals for treatment. Two patients were listed in critical condition.
One person declined medical transportation.
No other details were given, but an investigation is ongoing.
