One person was hospitalized after being injured in a Salinas car accident on Highway 183 near Preston Street
Salinas, Calif. – One person was injured in a Sunday evening car accident that occurred near Salinas in Monterey County.
The accident was reported around 4:49 p.m. on Highway 183 near Preston Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars at the accident scene. The vehicles were reportedly involved in a T-bone collision.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
