Bakersfield, Calif. – The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in Bakersfield Sunday morning.
Authorities said the wreck happened at around 6:11 a.m. at the intersection of Manor Street and Denise Avenue.
The preliminary investigation revealed the driver of a red coupe was driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Manor Street.
At the same time, a black crossover and a red sedan were traveling southbound in the 10 block of Manor Street.
The three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
Two people were seriously injured in the wreck and were transported to a hospital for treatment.
No more information about the collision was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
