San Diego, Calif. – The medical examiner's office has released the name of the motorcycle rider who died after crashing into a disabled vehicle on Highway 94 in San Diego.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner identified the victim as Jadahn Carl Shaefer, 27, of Lemon Grove.
According to the medical examiner's report, Shaefer died of blunt force injuries of the torso.

San Diego, Calif. – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle that occurred late Friday night on Highway 94 in San Diego, according to a police report.
The deadly crash happened at about 10:35 p.m. on January 5 on eastbound Highway 94 east of Kelton Road overpass.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and located a rider and despite life-saving measures, the Lemon Grove man died at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the rider crashed into a disabled vehicle in the number one lane of eastbound traffic. The rider was ejected from the motorcycle following the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
